The following privacy policy is intended to outline how SecurePayTech.com manages the security of personally identifiable customer details and the protection of data for people using SecurePayTech.com. We would advise checking back here regularly, because as SecurePayTech.com adds new services and functionality, this policy may be modified accordingly. If you have any questions pertaining to anything in this document, please feel free to contact the support team by any of the methods outlined here.
What this Privacy Policy covers:The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide both current and prospective SecurePayTech.com customers with an understanding of the processes in place to ensure the utmost care and protection is used when handling sensitive and personally identifiable information provided to SecurePayTech.com. During the normal course of business, some of SecurePayTech.com's business partners may provide personal information about mutual customers' this policy covers the handling of information obtained in this manner as well. However, this Privacy Policy does not cover the practices of companies that are not owned or controlled by SecurePayTech.com, or that of people who are not employed or managed by SecurePayTech.com. SecurePayTech.com is wholly owned, and functions as a division of, Digiweb New Zealand Limited - please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to Digiweb, or to any other divisions of Digiweb, but is instead specific and exclusive to SecurePayTech.com How SecurePayTech.com obtains customer information and the uses it is put to:The primary method by which SecurePayTech.com obtains personally identifiable customer information is when a business or individual creates a customer account with us at SecurePayTech.com. Other sources that may provide SecurePayTech.com with customer information are: our parent company Digiweb New Zealand Limited, other divisions of Digiweb, resellers of the SecurePayTech.com services, and other business partners. Primarily this information consists of contact information (such as your name, street address, phone number, email address), and billing information such as your bank account and credit card information. During the processing of a transaction, SecurePayTech.com will also receive limited information from the order that includes the Merchant Order Number, the Merchant ID assigned from their bank of choice, the credit card number, expiration date, and cardholder name, the purchase value, and the currency of the transaction. At no point during the transaction does SecurePayTech.com obtain information directly from the consumer making the purchase - all information is obtained via the merchant website using our product and services. SecurePayTech.com uses the collected information to process and complete the requests put through electronically from the merchant (SecurePayTech.com's customer), either via their website or from their control panel within their account on SecurePayTech.com. These requests may be in the form of processing a transaction, querying the status of a transaction, generating historical reports of activity on a customers account, facilitating the billing of customers, and any other process normally required during the delivering of online payment gateway services by SecurePayTech.com. Information sharing and disclosure:SecurePayTech.com places a strong emphasis on the protection of customer information that is personally identifiable, and as such, have implemented stringent policies to determine how and when this information can be shared or disclosed. SecurePayTech.com will only provide your personally identifiable information to other companies or organizations in the following situations:
The extent of personally identifiable information that is provided to third parties (such as credit card processing companies or banks) is only that which is necessary for SecurePayTech.com to deliver the online payment processing. Security Measures for protecting information:The protection of sensitive information is critical to the success of SecurePayTech.com, not only from a business perspective, but also in maintaining the trust of our customers. Consequently, we have implemented strict procedures to ensure the protection of this information during the transmission and storage with SecurePayTech.com. All webpages that require the input of sensitive customer information are secured during transmission to our servers by the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts the information you send to our servers. Especially sensitive information (such as credit card details) are then secured on our servers using the Strong (448-bit) BlowFish encryption technology - all servers are stored in a locked datacenter, to which only limited staff members are given access. In addition, firewalls and other security procedures are implemented to prevent the unauthorized access to our servers. However, no security is going to be able to prevent your personal information and account from being accessed, if an intruder obtains your valid username and password. Therefore, the responsibility of protecting your username and password remains with the customer at all times. SecurePayTech.com recommends that customers do not use an easily guessable password, and refrain from sharing username/passwords that you use on other sites with your account at SecurePayTech.com. This is to avoid the possibility of access by an intruder who obtained your username and password from another site you belong to. Modifying account preferences and contact information:SecurePayTech.com recognizes that it is important to keep contact information accurate and up-to-date. Therefore, all customers can log in at anytime to update their stored information - all updates are made under SSL encryption to ensure your privacy. SecurePayTech.com actively encourages all customers to keep accurate contact details in their customer profile, because our support staff will not release username/password information over the telephone for security reasons, and will only email these details to the listed contact email address in your profile. Updates to this Privacy Policy:SecurePayTech.com reserves the right to modify and amend this Privacy Policy at anytime, and for any reason without actively notifying our customers. If there are substantial changes to how SecurePayTech.com will be handling identifiable personal information, an electronic mail out to customers will take place.
